Full overhaul, repair and reassembly of gearboxes and differentials

Exchange transmission units in cases where cost of repair would justify a replacement unit

Capacity to work on several units simultaneously

24-hour turnaround time (subject to parts availability)

We resurface all types of HGV commercial Flywheels

Flywheel skimming is common practice when you fit a new clutch.

We “Plunge Grind” Flywheels which means the entire contact surface is machined at the same time.

We can therefore control the accuracy, grind out the hard spots, and ensure a quality job.

Runout does not exist – common with Flywheels that are machined on lathes.

Our Flywheel Grinder will produce an excellent Swirl Finish.

At Truck Transmissions we recognise that time is money and that efficiency is the key to a smooth partnership between ourselves and you, the customer.

24 Hour Rapid Relay

Our dedicated drivers are able to collect and deliver your transmission anywhere in the UK.

We aim to reach you as soon as we can and this is usually within a day of you calling us.

Repair of your transmission at our premises in Blackburn.

(If the cost of repair justifies it, you will be offered a fully guaranteed unit in exchange)

Delivery of repaired or replacement unit to you.

We aim, and usually succeed, in a 24-hour turnaround time.

Warranty Conditions for Reconditioned Units

12-months unlimited mileage warranty on every exchange unit

If within the warranty period the Customer gives notice to the Company that a fault has arisen from defective material or workmanship, such defects will be made good on return of the unit to our premises, provided the unit has been properly maintained and operated under normal conditions.

We do not authorise any persons to inspect/dismantle a failed unit or assume for us any liability in connection with the product.

This warranty does NOT cover costs of removal/fitting, vehicle recovery, loss of earnings or any consequential costs/damage.
